Steelhead Fishing Question

Hi guys,

I'm a student at Michigan Tech and am from downstate Michigan. I'm dying to do some steelhead fishing and its too cold to fish up here so I was wondering if you know of any good rivers in Northern Wis (within 4ish hours of tech) that have good steelie runs probably from Lake Michigan. Thanks.

From Lake MI. There is not that great of runs north of Green bay. You will get a few, but not many. Mostly the smaller streams if any. The bulk of the rivers north of Green Bay are walleye hot spots. To really get into the steelies you need to get down around Milwauke, Racine, and Kenosha.

The Brule will see a good run, but that is some time aways yet, being further north. Size is just quite the same though.
