Well folks it's a little early yet for any major movement here in the Minocqua Area. We don't see a major amount of duck being off a flyway. So we get a larger number later in the season. With over 3000 lakes in the area plus rivers and streams we have a lot of resident ducks. Lots of Mallards and Mergs. We have seen a lot of geese flying this year. Way more than normal.

Will try to let you know when the ducks really show up here.

I didn't get a chance to get out over the weekend, but sure am looking forward to it.

Hope the diver numbers are up this year. I'm not real thrilled with the continued decline in mallards...

Being from Eagle River area I noticed the same things as Steve. Lots of geese flying over the weekend.
