13 Different Critters on One Cam

Discussion in 'Deer Cam Pictures' started by Terrific_tom, May 10, 2009.

  1. I got 13 different critters on this one cam in less than a week. Might have gotten more but the card was full. I judge how I am managing my land by the diversity of wildlife that calls my peice of property home, judging by the pictures on just this one camera I must be doing OK. There is one picture that I am not sure if it is a bobcat or yote what do you all think.

  2. I think it is a coyote in the one pic, is that a hawk following the grouse pic?

  3. No it is a woodcock or as some people call it a Timberdoodle

That's quite the collection of pictures.

  5. Nice pictures, spring is a good time to see lots of critters. Are you sure that's a woodcock? The tail seems too long, the body and rump areas lack the redish brown feathers ,the wing isn't mottled black and brown, and the legs seem alittle too far forward on the body, but I could be wrong.Anyone else care to comment?

Here's a woodcock picture I found on the internet for comparison.
