Pine river still premium brown trout water.

Fished the Pine River this morning. I stopped in and asked permission again in the barn. I had not fished this stretch in 4 years. The farmer remembered me and placed an order for three trout. Three above trout were given to the land owner. Love seeing the smile on landowner's faces and it secured my permission for eons to come. The wife's eyes were really big when she saw me pull the three from my artic creel. She stated: "Damn hubby you need to get out their sometime and catch some like that!"

23 to hand and lost 2 dandies at shore. Pine River has very sheer banks and is hard to land big fish alone.

Pine river is still premium brown trout water.

    Fished in the woods today.

Caught the smallies in wide open pasture.
