Authorities today recovered the fourth victim involved in the January 3 fatal canoe incident in Walworth County and reopened the Mill Lake area of Lake Beulah, DNR Recreational Safety Warden Jason Roberts said.

The Walworth County Sheriff's Department and its medical examiner teamidentified the fourth victim as Patrick M. Wetzel, age 21. The three other victims were recovered earlier this week. Authorities said the search for the missing individuals as reported is completed.

Roberts said the DNR investigation will continue.

"The DNR will be completing and compiling reports from the various assisting agencies during the next several weeks," he said. Reports from the medical examiner will not be immediately available and requests for such reports should be directed to the Walworth County Medical Examiner's office.

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Walworth County Sheriff, the Town of East Troy Police Department and the East Troy Fire Department would like to thank the following assisting agencies and businesses: the Walworth County Medical Examiner, Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, Racine County Sheriff's Office, Rock County Sheriff's Office, Milwaukee Police Department, Air1, fire departments from Mukwonago, Vernon, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, Tichigan, North Prairie, the Town of Delavan, Paratech Ambulance Service, public works departments from Walworth County and the Town of East Troy, and Complete Pier Service, Double D's Bar and Grill, American Entertainment, Cousins Subs, Bruce's Legacy, and Elegant Farmer.
