Whos got the best way to prepare a grouse?
4 grouse breast
1cup of honey
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 cup of orange marmalade or apricot jam
Grill the grouse on the grill with salt and pepper, grill only slightly to get it to look white. Take ingredients and mix them and put in a tin pan with the grouse breasts put pan on grill and grill for about 20 minutes basting occasionally.
This tastes great, just don't over cook!!
Hey guys, great new site.......I found it through our Michigan-Sportsman.com site. My son and I will be watching to see if there are any Beagle guys on the site, with great stories.

Sounds like ThanksGiving to me!
We do one with that works great on everything from veni chunks to duck breast to wild turkey breast strips.
* 1 cup each (or 1/3 equal amounts) of dark beer, soy sauce, and BBQ sauce...we use Sweet Baby Ray's.
* Strips or chunks of game
* Strips of uncooked bacon (1 for each piece of meat)
Add marinade mixture to meat chunks/strips and soak for 6 hours or overnight, stirring on occasion.
Wrap 1/2 piece of uncooked bacon around meat pieces and work onto big toothpicks or bamboo skewers. Grill until bacon is crispy, checking to make sure meat does not over cook. Eat up...
