Horicon Marsh's Stories at the Marsh - fun for the whole family

    HORICON, Wis. - Bring out the family for an evening of fun and learning at April's offerings of "Stories at the Marsh" at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center on April 7 and 21 from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m..

    "Both evenings offer entertainment and learning through stories and crafts for the kids," said Beth Haffenbredl, a DNR wildlife educator at Horicon. "These two sessions will help people better understand some of the Wisconsin critters we'll soon be seeing and hearing as spring builds into our area."

    Bats - April 7, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

    Frogs and Turtles - April 21, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

    Both events will feature stories and a craft project for all that attend. These family-friendly evenings are recommended for children ages 4 and up.

    Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located between the towns of Horicon and Mayville on Hwy. 28. Please use the lower entrance near the auditorium for these events.
