I was hunting Turtle Valley in Walworth County this morning, parked off Island Rd. I leaned by Benelli Super Vinci against the passenger side of the truck as I loaded the rest of my gear. And then drove off without it. Obviously it was not there when I went back after realizing I had forgot it. I don't deserve it but I'm hoping some kind soul found it and is willing to return it.
Back when I was a cop I left my handheld radio on the roof of the squad. I drove off and later found I had misplaced it. It was still on the roof leaning against the light bar where I left it. It happens to the best of us.
Got my gun back. Someone found it and turned it into the sheriff's office. Glad there are still honest people out there.
