Anyone been out on Lake Nebagamon yet? How is the Ice? How well did you do?
I'm just finishing up the late season deer hunt and haven't had a chance to go fishing yet.

I was just thinking that you guys up there ought to be getting close to being on the ice,... we are getting close here.

Well, I got tired of waiting on the fishing and went out yesterday. I was in the bay close to county road P and the ice was 4-6 inches. Pretty slow going though. caught a couple of decent walleye on shiners.

Sounds like some decent ice to me.

  5. 6 inches of Ice in Ohio or Michigan people would be trying to drive there vehicles on it

8 Inches of Ice last weekend (12/15-16) and really slow going in the morning. No bites at all. Tried shiners for walleye/pike and grubs for panfish. Nary a bite. Didn't stay for the evening action (if there was any)
