Lead in venison

  1. With all the hoopla lately about lead fragments in venison, just wondered if anyone is really concerned about this??

    I don't think I am...as I take another puff of my cigarette...LOL

Is this just a PETA ploy like a lot of us think it is??
  2. According to an article in Petersen's Hunting a dermatologist who published an report on lead fragments in venison came under scrutiny. It turned out he was a board member of the Peregrine Fund, a bird conservation group supporting a ban on lead bullets in California. The issue isn't lead bullets it's the way the meat is processed .

  3. That's pretty much what I thought

I'm not surprised...I think it's all a back door plot...after all, if something doesn't get us, something else will-we all have to die, some sooner than later.

Did they ever get the lead out of the tin cans we put food in? LOL
