new hunting permits

  1. got my hunting licenses the other day----without the help of a lawyer I figured out how to purchase antlerless permits for the correct hunting area, public private , farmland or forested , no permits many permits----what are thoughts from others----I am believing this will end up being a very good way to closely monitor deer herds in amore targeted way, I do have a unique situation though--my 40 acres are on 1 side of area private---the other side of road is pubic , I am also 1 side forested the other farmland, so I actually purchased a doe tag for each side , can any body tell me if you arrow a deer on one side and it runs to the other side and dies which is the actual area of kill ????? It is pretty said when you need a law degree to figure the stuff out.
