  1. Post any fishing reports here for north/north-central WI.

    Enterprise lake (Langlade county):
Perch being caught in 6-8 feet on crappie minnows. Find weed growth and fish off the bottom and work your way up till u find them. Pike action has been slow with a few being caught on medium shiners on tip-ups.

    Pickerel lake (Langlade county):
Northern action is great anywhere here...medium shiners on a Orange jighead work the best. Panfish action has been hit or miss lately, with bluegills, sunfish, perch, and crappie being caught. A small vertical hanging jig tipped with a escorting or crappie minnow has been doing the trick on "hot" days. Green, orange, and white are hot colors.

    Hilgers pond (Langlade county):
Your best bet is to target pike on this lake. It can be hit or miss but on the good is it fun. Crappie minnows or shiners in a treble work the best. The panfish however have been basically non-existent thus year. Havnt seen any in the camera and havnt had one nibble. I did talk to an elderly man who was fishing and must live near the lake and he told me hr hasn't had much action either. Although he did say he saw a gentleman and his wife plucking some out the other day. Best time of day to fish this lake is 12 pm-2 pm, and about an hour to half hour before dark.
