    my kinda water. a snaggy mess.

    To the top of my waders looking for big browns.

    I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those homogenized manicured sections.

    I am hoping for green on opener but I must be a realist.

    This is what the opener is going to look like.

    The keys to a successful opening days early season opener is to look for those Thermal Changes in holes. Note the small spring emptying in on the right...The trout were stacked up like cord wood here. It was a Grand day.

    Lots of folks dislike the scenery right after the snow melts. It means no more cold snow runoff...warmer waters and trout that haven't been harassed for 5 months.
