  2. How are Wisconsin's current rules written to prohibit open water hunting?
     

  3. Wis. law currently states that it is Illegal to hunt more than 3ft from any emergent vegetation capable of covering more than 50% of the craft as seen from at least 1 direction.
    There are exceptions to this, those being the Mississippi River, Big Green Lake, and Lake Superior. In these place, there are larger length specifications that apply.
