Post Flooding

  1. I fished the driftless area this past weekend following all the flooding. Most of the creeks i fished looked like they took a pretty good beating. Many of the smaller tribs were either clear or just slightly stained and the fishing was solid. The fish were very aggressive as they probably missed a meal or two during the flooding. This was my first time fishing the area so I can't compare to before the flood but I was very impressed with the number of fish. I didn't hook or land any real impressive fish but I had steady action in most spots i tried. I can't wait to get back out to fish the miles of water that are there. Sorry no pics as i didn't have a camera with me.
