Public invited to learn about planned timber harvest on Albany Wildlife Area

DNR South Central Region - FITCHBURG, Wis. -- The public can learn more about a planned timber harvest on portions of the Albany Wildlife Area at an informational meeting at the Albany Town Hall, N6065 County Hwy. E, Albany, on Nov. 14 from 6 - 7 p.m. The timber harvest is the next stage in a multi-year effort to suppress invasive plant species and promote oak regeneration, restoring the area to an oak woodland habitat.
