    No URLs?

I actually attempted to post a photobuckt link that shows bows I've built and given away. I guess I neglected to read the fine print while registering?

No you didn't do anything wrong. You just need to have 5 posts under your belt b4 you can post a URL due to porn spammers.

we are winding up for the next bow speed event, and I thought you might like to enter the bow drawing. Steve
Here's a copy of what I've been spreading around the forums (spread the word).

Ken Rohloff has graciously offered to host the 2nd annual (soon to be very famous) "Walk The Talk" event. It's a great way to clock a bunch of bows on a level playing field. In doing this myths will be crushed and secrets will be revealed to all. I think it's the best thing a bunch of hobbyist bowbuiders can to to forward the craft. It's all about sharing as far as I'm concerned. None of us invented any of this stuff and most of us (myself included) are still building bows like it was 1940. Sign up or you"ll wish did! LOL Steve
Here are last year's numbers from the 1st annual event. We need more bows!
(All numbers are based on 10 grains per pound @28" AMO
James Patrick One piece Hybrid- 193.3 FPS / One piece Hybrid (with small tips)-188.7
Steve Quinton: 3 Piece Recurve 186.3
Steve Gardner: All wood selfbow (straight limbed) - 184.5
Mike Bird: One piece Hybrid- 184 / 3 piece Hybrid-182
    Ernie Mckenzie: 3 piece Hybrid (w/camo)-182.5 / 3 piece Hybrid-180
Here are a few shots of last year's "grass roots" event. This year Ken is sure one up things.

I'm Donating my contest bow for a free online drawing...
When you see the drawing bow you might not be so enthused. I'm sure my bow won't win the speed contest, but it appears to be a good tough, quiet, straight shootin, 180 or so FPS design.
I've been hunting hard with it all year and will be until early April. If it survives until then, it will be my contest bow and the drawing bow. If it doesn't survive, I'll send another. How's this sound for drawing entree fine print:
    1. Entrees will be received prior to 12 Noon on 4-18-08 by sending an email to Steve Quinton at [email protected]
I'll send the names to Ken on the day of the event.
    2. Entrants must be registered members of a traditional forum. One entree per person.
    3. Entrants must be U.S. Citizens
    4. Prior to the event, I will send postage to Ken for the bow to be sent to the drawing winner anywhere in the Continental U.S.A
