The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation seeks grant for acquisition of land

    GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation has applied for a 50% matching grant from the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program to assist with the purchase of 28.83 acres of land in the Town of Eaton, Brown County. The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation will provide match to the grant award.

    The property will be left in its natural state and will be open to the public for low impact recreational activities including hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, cross-county skiing, snowshoeing, nature study, wildlife observation and photography.
