Know anybody who has any boar hide or anyone that plans to hunt for a russian. Tell him you'd like some of the hide from the upper shoulder, the long bristles make for great tailing material in large drake patterns and are the very best pick for wiskers or as in the Jet Bug (a bunched hair mouse pattern) the wiskers, back, and tail all at the same time. Spinner this tyed in the smaller sizes makes for a great after dark monster brown fly as well as bass and pike. Black bear guard hairs are also very good tailing material
and if they aren't dead straight the trout don't mind, if anything it may be all the more of an attracter.
