Village of Osceola seeks grant to create new recreational trails

DNR Central Office - OSCEOLA,Wis. - To expand access to Osceola Creek and create new recreational trails, the Village of Osceola has applied to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for a 50 percent matching grant from the Urban Rivers subprogram of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program. The grant will assist with the purchase of 1.71 acres of land in the Village of Osceola in Polk County. The village will provide match to the grant award.
